Powering a Smarter World with AI at CES 2025

CES 2025, the world’s premier IT fair, was held from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, USA. This year’s event, themed ‘DIVE IN,’ highlighted the significant role of AI-centered technological innovations, with AI emerging as the dominant trend.

Relative to the 2024 fair, the number of AI-related products showcased saw an increase of over 50%. Companies from various sectors showcased a wide array of innovative services utilizing AI, including generative AI, autonomous mobility, AI-based healthcare, and smart home solutions, effectively mapping the future direction of technology. CES 2025 reaffirmed the evolution of AI technology from an optional to a fundamental component.

A highlight of the event was the Seoul Pavilion, under the slogan ‘Team Seoul, ON BOARD to Dive in!’. This pavilion was the gathering point for innovative South Korean startups and featured the largest booth ever constructed for the group. Leading AI companies enhanced this space, aligning with the latest trends, and IPIN LABS was also present, showcasing our exceptional technological capabilities.

Introduction to IPIN LABS Exhibition Booth

At CES 2025, IPIN LABS showcased its Indoor/Outdoor Positioning AI technology and its integrated location-based asset management solution, BPIN. This display attracted significant attention from stakeholders across various industries. Building on the momentum from last year’s CES, the focus remained on the business value of location data, emphasizing the expansion of location-based technologies across a diverse array of businesses and industries.

IPIN LABS also highlighted several ongoing projects with prominent domestic companies. This presentation illustrated practical applications of real-time location information and introduced adaptable API services suitable for various applications. Our demonstrations generated considerable interest among attendees, showcasing how IPIN LABS’ solutions could catalyze digital transformation and markedly enhance operational efficiency for businesses.

CES Innovation Awards® Announcement

IPIN LABS’ location-based industrial asset management solution, BPIN, was honored with the ‘Innovation in Industrial Equipment and Machinery’ Award at CES 2025. Utilizing AI to analyze real-time data from installed Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signals, BPIN accurately identifies the location of assets within a smart factory. This award recognizes the innovative value of BPIN. Through BPIN, IPIN LABS not only boosts productivity at industrial sites but also ensures worker safety and supports the construction of a sustainable smart ecosystem.

Achievements from Participating in CES 2025

IPIN LABS achieved significant success in the global market through its participation in CES 2025. IPINLABS was not only awarded an innovation award for its location-based industrial asset management solution, ‘BPIN,’ but also created opportunities for meaningful partnerships with global companies.

During the event, IPIN LABS engaged in in-depth discussions about monitoring system projects with a prominent U.S. office supply distributor and an automobile manufacturer. In addition, in Asia, IPIN LABS discussed collaborations on asset tracking solutions with various firms, including a major Japanese SI company. Domestically, scheduled follow-up meetings with industries such as automotive manufacturing, construction, and real estate development are expected to accelerate digital transformation across these sectors.

Furthermore, we initiated discussions with a European specialist in energy harvesting to develop more sustainable and energy-efficient location tracking solutions. This collaboration is expected to significantly advance our ESG management values, marking a meaningful step in our strategic initiatives.

Directions of Indoor Positioning Technology Development as Observed at CES

The indoor positioning technology market is still primarily dominated by UWB and BLE infrastructure-based solutions. However, during discussions with visitors at our IPIN LABS booth at CES, it was evident that many companies are increasingly focusing on anchor-free solutions, largely due to the high costs associated with initial setup and ongoing maintenance.

As demonstrated at this year’s CES, AI has emerged as a pivotal issue and a major trend across all industries. We at IPIN LABS are dedicated to embracing this trend by actively integrating AI into the innovation of our indoor positioning technology. IPIN LABS is focused on expanding the potential for applying AI-based integrated location solutions across various industries, an approach that includes developing customized solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients in each sector.
