BIXPO 2025, Korea's largest energy convergence exhibition, took place at the KDJ Center in Gwangju. Under the theme "Connecting New Technologies, Energy, Business, and the World through Energy," companies and organizations from across the energy sector came together to showcase the latest technologies and innovative solutions.

Joining Global Leaders with Innovative Technology

IPIN LABS participated in BIXPO 2025 at the 'Global Tech Leaders Pavilion' as a CES 2025 Innovation Award winner, alongside other companies recognized for their outstanding innovation. The pavilion featured a variety of programs including hands-on technology demonstrations, seminars, and guided booth tours, creating plenty of opportunities for meaningful exchanges.

Our indoor location tracking solution 'BPIN' attracted significant attention as an ideal solution for safety management and operational efficiency in energy facilities. While traditional solutions require weeks or even months to deploy, BPIN's AI-powered indoor positioning solution can be implemented across large sites in a much shorter timeframe—a key advantage that resonated strongly with attendees.

There was particularly high interest in worker safety management applications. We received many questions about use cases and specific deployment approaches, confirming the growing demand for digital safety management solutions in energy facilities.

Experience BPIN Live: Real-time Location Tracking

We prepared live technology demonstrations so visitors could experience real-time indoor location tracking firsthand. As visitors moved around the Global Leader Pavilion with the BPIN app run, they could watch their location appear in real-time on a digital map—both on their phone screens and on monitors at our booth.

Seeing this technology in action sparked genuine excitement and curiosity among visitors, many of whom were experiencing indoor positioning for the first time.

Steps Toward the Future

BIXPO 2025 reinforced our understanding of the potential and necessity of indoor location tracking technology in the energy sector. Large-scale facilities like power plants and substations are filled with high-value equipment and hazardous installations, making accurate asset tracking and rapid safety response absolutely critical. It was rewarding to demonstrate how our technology can provide practical solutions to these real-world challenges.

Moving forward, IPIN LABS will continue working to solve inefficiencies caused by missing indoor location data across various industrial environments, helping create safer and more efficient workplaces. The conversations we had with energy industry professionals at this exhibition will be invaluable as we continue developing our technology.
