IPIN LABS' Indoor Positioning Solution Connected to Barcelona

The world's largest mobile communications exhibition, 'MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2025' held in Barcelona, Spain, concluded successfully amid intense interest from the global telecommunications and IT industries. This year's MWC, themed 'Connected Future,' featured approximately 2,900 companies from 205 countries showcasing the latest mobile communications technologies and various innovative solutions.
At this exhibition, IPIN LABS captured the attention of the global B2B market by presenting its AI-based indoor positioning solution that enables precise location tracking even in indoor environments where GPS does not function.

The SK Telecom integrated pavilion in Hall 8 brought together promising AI startups from Korea. IPIN LABS, having collaborated with SK Telecom to develop a smart factory asset management solution, joined this space to showcase its successful implementation case at SK Hynix factories.

At the booth, videos displaying real-time tracking of equipment and personnel movements within workplaces captured visitors' attention on screen. In particular, test footage of the smart factory asset management solution and AGV testing conducted in an automotive factory left a profound impression on visitors.
"Why install new beacons? Just utilize what's already there."
The solution IPIN LABS introduced at this MWC leverages existing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy infrastructure for indoor location tracking. Unlike conventional indoor positioning technologies, it can be rapidly deployed within 24 hours without additional infrastructure installation, dramatically reducing costs and time—a point that caught the attention of foreign buyers.
Meetings with Global Companies

Throughout the four-day exhibition, IPIN LABS' booth consistently attracted representatives from global companies. To accelerate its entry into the European market, IPIN LABS held business meetings with Aena, a Spanish airport operations company, discussing plans to expand the pilot project for tracking rental items at Incheon International Airport to European airports.
Additionally, IPIN LABS continued discussions with major European manufacturers about expanding the application of smart factory solutions. IPIN LABS' advantage of rapid deployment utilizing existing infrastructure resonated strongly with European companies, many of which proposed Proof of Concept (PoC) projects.
Steps Forward After MWC 2025
Having successfully concluded MWC 2025, IPIN LABS plans to expand its business not only to Europe but also to the Americas, building on the global network established at MWC. Follow-up meetings with various companies encountered at the exhibition are already scheduled, and the company is set to further strengthen its competitiveness in the global market.
IPIN LABS aims to continue refining its AI-based indoor location tracking solution to provide practical solutions that address real challenges faced by businesses. We ask for your continued interest and support as IPIN LABS changes the paradigm of indoor positioning technology and leads innovation across various industries including smart factories, airports, and hospitals.
